OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

ZAPE LIMITED is committed to achieving the highest Health and Safety standard across its services which covers Civil construction, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Onshore Pipeline Laying, and Facility Maintenance by providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health to her employees, sub-contractors, stakeholders, through the implementation of an effective HSE Management System based on a competent workforce and a proactive HSE culture.

To achieve this mission, ZAPE top management is committed to:

  • Conducting her operations in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, permits and approved standards.
  • Complying with all agreed clients and interested parties requirements.
  • The elimination of hazards and reduction of OH&S risks.
  • The continual improvement of its OH&S management system.
  • The consultation and participation of workers, and workers’ representatives, as applicable.

It is the policy of ZAPE to:

  • Maintain safe operations in the execution of her core activities.
  • Set objectives, targets and performance standards that encourages continual improvement in HSE Management System performance.
  • Monitor the health of all employees regularly to ensure they are not adversely affected by the workplace.
  • Cooperate with federal, state and local government as well as relevant stakeholders in sharing/analyzing emerging health and safety issues.
  • Ensure that risks and hazards to which the employees and assets are exposed are identified, evaluated and the measures for reducing them are clearly defined and implemented.
  • Ensure that periodic reviews and internal audits are conducted to identify gaps and possible areas of improvement.
  • Ensure that adequate emergency response procedures/plans are developed and maintained to mitigate the impact of incidents, and/or accidents in our operations and test systems for effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all unsafe acts/conditions, accidents, and incidents are reported and analyzed, to improve procedures and human behaviors.
  • Provide adequate resources and HSE training programs for employees and sub-contractors personnel.
